The flexible payment option for occasional software use with tokens

Autodesk Flex is a pay-as-you-go payment option for selected Autodesk software products. It was introduced for users who only need occasional access and for whom a long-term subscription is not worthwhile.

Tokens, which act as the unit of software usage, are available in predefined packages and can be adapted flexibly to your team's requirements. They are valid for one year from the purchase date, are not renewed automatically, and do not roll over into the next year.

This is how Autodesk Flex works

  • Step 1: Buy tokens for your team.

  • Step 2: Assign users in your Autodesk Account Flex environment.

  • Step 3: Tokens are consumed every 24 hours as long as a product remains open. Close the product to stop token consumption.

  • Step 4: Track token usage and spending.

Who is Autodesk Flex suitable for?

Flex

  • For occasional users, around 7 days per month or less.
  • Token-based access to a broad range of Autodesk products.
  • Each token provides 24 hours of access to a product.
  • Assign Flex to as many users as needed and define which products they may access.

Subscription

  • For regular and frequent users, several times per week.
  • Purchase a subscription for specific Autodesk products or the AEC Collection.
  • Use the product as often as needed during the subscription term.
  • Assign the subscription to a specific user and reassign it as needed during the subscription period.
