One Click LCA
Software for building life cycle assessment
One Click LCA is a comprehensive cloud software platform for assessing and reducing the carbon impact of building projects and construction materials. It supports architects, engineers, consultants, and manufacturers with BIM-connected life cycle assessment workflows, more than 70 certification schemes, and access to over 200,000 verified datasets from sources such as ÖKOBAUDAT and the IBU database.
The platform supports standards including DGNB, QNG, LEED, and BREEAM and works with leading BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit.
Your solution for sustainable building projects
One Click LCA supports full lifecycle analysis, material optimization, compliance, and reporting for more informed low-carbon project decisions.
Complete life cycle analysis
From construction through demolition, One Click LCA helps you build a full picture of the environmental impact of your project.
Optimize materials and resources
Identify opportunities to reduce carbon footprint and improve resource efficiency with better material choices.
Compliance and certifications
Meet national and international sustainable building standards more easily, including certification-related requirements.
Reporting and documentation
Create structured reports that support your sustainability strategy and document project outcomes clearly.
Comprehensive data integration
Import BIM and BEM models directly into One Click LCA or use plugins to improve your planning workflow. The platform provides interfaces and plugins for energy software, design software, different file formats, and BIM management tools.
The license is available in different tiers, including Business, Designer, and Expert, and always includes BIM interfaces as well as the Level(s) GWP tool for EU taxonomy requirements.
Integration of One Click LCA with Revit
One Click LCA includes a plugin for Revit. Early-stage designs are best assessed in Carbon Designer, which automatically selects typical construction types. Revit models with different levels of detail can be imported using construction quantities, assigned material quantities, or a mix of both. The adaptive recognition algorithm in One Click LCA also helps apply suitable assemblies or materials automatically when they are not explicitly defined.
We are happy to advise you on how to structure Revit models in the most effective way for life cycle assessment.
Powerful eco-design features at a glance
One Click LCA helps you calculate carbon impact, identify hotspots, review material use, and benchmark building performance with structured life cycle assessment data.
Calculate CO2 emissions and other impact categories: Assess embodied and operational emissions, the global warming potential of your building, and additional environmental indicators with less manual effort.
Focus on structural hotspots: Identify the structural elements with the highest carbon footprint at a glance so you can target the biggest contributors first.
Find the most used materials: Identify materials with major environmental impact and evaluate more sustainable alternatives where they matter most.
Benchmark your building: Compare the embodied carbon performance of your project with thousands of other buildings to understand relative performance more clearly.
How can the carbon footprint of construction projects be reduced?
The construction industry is responsible for nearly 39% of global CO2 emissions and 50% of global raw material extraction, so the need to decarbonize is urgent. For a long time, measures to reduce carbon emissions in construction focused mainly on operational emissions. However, as the energy sector decarbonizes more quickly, embodied emissions are now increasingly recognized as the factor with the greatest climate impact.
