pit-CAD
Flexible MEP planning to match your needs
pit-CAD has supported AutoCAD as a base system for many years. Unlike pure CAD programs, you do not draw with lines in pit-CAD, but with objects. This saves time and enables a wide range of evaluation options.
Thanks to its modular structure, pit-CAD can be expanded continuously and adapted to your planning requirements.
Integrated MEP planning in a modular setup
pit-CAD supports object-based planning, scalable levels of detail, extensive symbol libraries, and modular extensions for multiple building services disciplines.
Wide-ranging evaluation options
Work with different sections and views, carry out surface and quantity calculations, and let the software handle layer definitions automatically.
Flexible planning formats
Choose freely between schematic design, 2D drawing, and 3D modeling. pit-CAD can support every project phase from concept presentation to execution planning and facility support.
Extensive symbol library
Transfer detailed information into your planning documents with one click and keep valuable data available through the different planning stages.
Modular expandability
The base module can be extended with Heating & Sanitary, Ventilation & Climate, and Electrical modules so the system grows with your needs.
Everything included for flexible MEP planning
pit-CAD includes dedicated modules for building regulation, ventilation and climate, heating and sanitary, and electrical planning.
pit Building Regulation is the base module for creating architectural floor plans with walls, windows, doors, and openings. It is also used for recording existing conditions and for supplementing or revising existing plans. The module supports easy generation of 3D building components from 2D plans to produce sections, perspectives, and derived data for heat demand or cooling load calculations.
pit Ventilation & Climate supports efficient CAD-based design of 2D and 3D ventilation and climate systems. The information required for construction is aligned with the planning stage, so design documentation can be produced quickly with limited data entry. Values entered once can then be expanded continuously during execution, installation, and as-built planning so planners, contractors, and clients work from the same data model.
pit Heating & Sanitary supports efficient CAD-based plant design in floor plans and schematics. Radiators are available as both 2D and 3D objects in many types, with dimensions selected from integrated product databases or entered manually. Connection types can be chosen directly by symbol selection, and radiator placement is controlled according to the selected reference element. For views and sections, heating surfaces can be built in 3D, and when radiator sizes change, the 2D/3D object display, connection lines, and labels update automatically.
pit Electrical is designed for efficient CAD-based creation of circuit diagrams and 2D/3D installation plans. The required information is tailored to the planning stage, which keeps data entry low during concept development. As the project progresses, the entered values are expanded through execution, installation, and as-built planning so that planners, contractors, and building owners can continue working from the same data model.
